Holga images taken on hp5.
On Wednesday we went to upper padley, in the peak district. Rather than taking my usual hiking setup of a tripod and a pinhole camera, I took my gas stove instead for hot drinks. As a lightweight alternative I took my holga, my m2, and film. I know the place well enough now, so at … Continue reading Stuff I saw at Upper Padley
Taken with Leica m2, voigtlander 35mm 2.5, hp5 @ 1600
On Monday we went to York, a yearly tradition; a pilgrimage for coffee, beer, books and trains. This year I took my Leica m2 with hp5 at 1600 for some snapshots and street photography.

I started back at my photography course in Lincoln, having to do advertising and press research, when I just want to shoot. I’m keeping a compact 35mm camera with me to get away from starring at an lcd and word document. The only subject matter in Lincoln besides the old architecture, brayford waterfront, various decent … Continue reading Stuff I saw, Lincoln in September
Went with art college to the national media museum, Bradford. There was a nice cafe, lot of TV memorabilia, arcade machines, but best of all plenty of cameras. All taken on xpro1, 35mmm, mostly wide open. Edited on phone on the way home.
As I wrote in the previous post, I had another visit to kinder scout. We started up Grindsbrook knoll, wandered about on kinder scout taking photos, and came down jacob’s ladder. Ascending grindsbrook knoll, we wanted to get the views and the hard part over and done with. Unfortunately, as we walked up, the clouds … Continue reading Stuff I saw – Kinder scout / MJU II (2)
